Onassis Foundation

The Onassis Foundation has been supporting young scientists, researchers and artists for 40 years, while continuing to place education at the heart of its activities, for the wider benefit of society. Consistent, therefore, with the primary role it has played in the field of educational scholarships since 1978.

The Scholarship Programme for Greeks provides scholarships for full-time studies abroad, with the aim of obtaining a PhD degree in a wide range of scientific and artistic disciplines, as well as for doctoral studies in Greece in selected disciplines.

The call for scholarships for the academic year 2023-2024 has been announced and has a deadline of 28 February 2023.

For the academic year 2023-2024, the following will be granted:
– up to 60 scholarships for postgraduate and doctoral studies abroad
– up to 10 scholarships for postgraduate studies in Greece
