Doctoral scholarships from ELIDEK

The programme is an inaugural action of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (ELIDEK) and aims to fund Doctoral Candidates for the preparation of their PhD thesis in Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) and/or Research Centres collaborating with HEIs in Greece.

A prerequisite for foreign doctoral candidates was that they had to have been admitted to a Greek university in order to complete their doctoral thesis in Greece, and in the case of co-supervision, the title must have been awarded by the Greek university.

The duration of the funding (in the form of a scholarship) is up to 3 years.

The scholarship is for a dissertation at Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) and Higher Military Educational Institutions (SMI) in Greece and the duration of the funding (in the form of a scholarship) is from 12 to 36 months.
