SUMMARY:Informative workshop on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks at Horizon Europe
DESCRIPTION:The National Documentation and Electronic Content Centre (EKT) and the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation (RIC)\, National Contact Points for Horizon Europe\, invite you to the online \n  Information Workshop on the PhD Networks Action\n   Marie Skłodowska-Curie \n  Actions\n\, on Thursday 11 May 2023 (10:00-13:00). \nThe conference is organised in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation and the European Research Executive Agency. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to be informed about the forthcoming call for action  \n  Doctoral Networks\n (Doctoral Networks) of the flagship programme  \n  Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions\n (MSCA) of Horizon Europe and put their questions directly to the representative of the European Research Executive Agency  \n  Eleni Deligianni\n. In addition\, useful tips for writing proposals will be presented by the evaluator of the call\,  Rev. Prof. Nikolaos Alexopoulos\, while coordinators of successful proposals will share their own experience and help with advice on good practice. \nFinally\, the services offered to potential participants by the National Contact Points of Greece and Cyprus will be presented.

DESCRIPTION:The National Documentation and Electronic Content Centre (EKT)\, in the framework of the Knowledge and Cooperation Bridges Initiative\, in collaboration with R.E.A.L. Science and the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation\, are organising the new cycle of “Real Skills for Scientists” webinars on 18 and 25 May 2023. After five successful webinar cycles\, Real Skills for Scientists returns in May with the organisation of the sixth cycle in the field of Engineering Sciences. \nThe webinar series\, consisting of 2 webinars with qualified speakers on topics such as entrepreneurship\, research in industry\, etc.\, is addressed to undergraduate and postgraduate students\, doctoral candidates\, PhD and postdoctoral researchers\, as well as young researchers of all scientific fields\, levels and career stages. \nIn the framework of the seminars\, young scientists\, young professionals and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet online and discuss with renowned scientists from Greece and abroad\, who will share their own career experiences. The speakers come from both academia and business. \nAll seminars have as a common axis the development of skills for the professional employment of young scientists and researchers. \nThe 1st webinar will take place on Thursday 18 May 2023 (17.00-18.30). The webinar will present the Bridges of Knowledge and Cooperation\, R.E.A.L. Science and the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation.
